The Coup was an attempt by Uptown Girl, Amras, and Elyas’ elven forces to overthrow the Piano Man after The Intervals, which resulted in Piano Man’s capture through the Knife of Transposition.

Overview

After the party became champions of The Intervals, they found themselves entangled in a coup conspiracy against the Piano Man. The coup was led by Uptown Girl (Piano Man’s romantic partner) and Amras (his healer), secretly funded by Elyas—the same elven leader who originally helped Piano Man overthrow Belle but had become disillusioned with his crumbling reign.

  • Originally funded Piano Man’s rebellion against Belle
  • Became disillusioned as Piano Man’s reign deteriorated and Paradise City fell into decay
