Meeting His Brothers
- Three halfling brothers appeared, asking about David
- Revealed David was supposed to get married that day
- This was the third time David had run away from his wedding
- David was depressed: “What if I’m wrong” about signing bride up for life with him
- Harloc was concerned and ensured David really wanted to marry
The Grove Wedding
- Party arrived at The Grove for wedding
- During ceremony, cart overturned revealing 2 goblins and goblin boss
- Goblins tried to scare halflings
- Party fought off goblins with entangle and sleep spells
- 2 more goblins appeared and hustled David away to goblin lair
Rescue
- Party tracked David to abandoned mine
- Cory went ahead, triggered trapped beam causing rockfall
- Found David tied up and crying
- David had enlisted the Goblins to kidnap him from his wedding
- Cory slapped David hard enough to make him bleed from temple (4 damage)
- Party dug out of rockfall (took several hours)
- Goblin boss had escaped but 2 goblins still tied up
Shotgun Wedding
- Party left David tied up
- Returned quickly to The Grove
- Cory officiated shotgun wedding
- Party received The Blane Map as reward for returning and marrying David
- Party warned halflings about potential goblin attack
