Story
Rose and Jack were in love, but their relationship was destroyed by Bonnie’s jealousy:
- Bonnie, the seamstress, loved Jack first
- When Jack chose Rose instead, Bonnie became consumed with jealousy
- Bonnie lied to DeWitt, telling him Jack was a vampire
- Bonnie lied to Jack, telling him Rose would meet him at Wise Men Falls
- DeWitt killed Jack with a crossbow bolt through the heart
- Rose died of grief, becoming a ghost
The Love Shack
Rose’s spirit haunted the Love Shack, a cottage where she waited for Jack:
- Examined a locket, holding onto memories
- Asked visitors if they were Jack
- When she realized they weren’t Jack, she would scream and cry
- In her anguish, called her father DeWitt “that monster”
- Summoned DeWitt (as a boneclaw) and a death dog to attack
Finding Peace
When the party recovered Jack’s body from Wise Men Falls:
- Jack’s spirit had been stuck at the falls, unable to move on without Rose
- His body was trapped at the bottom of the lake with a crossbow bolt through his heart
- With the lake unblocked, the waterfall activated again
- The mist lifted, and Rose returned to the cottage
- The party told Rose what happened to Jack
- Rose finally found peace
The Dress of Love
After finding peace, Rose performed a final act of love:
- She possessed the water wheel at the seamstress cottage
- Her heart strings fed the loom
- A single bolt of moonlight cloth was produced: the Dress of Love
- Bonnie took the magical cloth
