Description
During the clocktower battle (see 34 - Main 30), the party heard a chorus carried on Master Flo’s voice turning the tide of his fight. The chorus invoked “the wind of change” and, specifically, “children of tomorrow,” and as the music’s pitch suddenly dropped it conjured a 40-foot bubble of slowed time around Flo’s banner, forcing enemies to retreat.
The song reads as a manifestation of the prophesied Wind age of change now displacing the Piano Man’s waning Strings age.
A History check tied the lyric “children of tomorrow” to the orphanage of orphans in Lyric - the burning orphanage the party rescued Drummer Boy and the other children from during the Material Plane Riots - suggesting a connection between the song and those children.
