Imprisonment
Bob was one of two prisoners held in the bumpers of the Bally Table pinball machine:
- The bumpers appeared to be jails holding captives
- Bob was in one bumper, a warrior in the other
- Opening one jail would cause the other to be incinerated
- This created a moral dilemma for rescuers
- The party chose to rescue Bob
Chronology
Rescue from Bally Table
- Trapped in Bally Table pinball machine at top of mountain
- Party discovered the bumpers were actually jails
- Faced with choice: save Bob or save the warrior
- Party rescued Bob
- The warrior in the other bumper was incinerated
Escape
- Traveled with the party after rescue
- May have triggered the Jump puzzle (or so Cory claims)
- Left the Bally Table facility with the party
Connection to Stodor
Bob and Stodor were both prisoners at the Bally Table:
- Stodor was chained to the machine, used to throw pinballs
- Bob was trapped inside the machine, held in a bumper/jail
- Both were victims of Viscount Bridgerton’s operation
- However, they have separate backstories:
- Stodor was captured by The Synth after destroying a Synth Satellite
- Bob’s capture circumstances are unknown
